Disciple Now Weekend - January 13-15 2012

DNow is a weekend for students to experience life change through Bible Studies led from top college students, hang out time with students from their grade in host homes, and powerful worship services.

The theme for this year is Breakable: From Routine to Revival. Life is a routine, and that routine can grind us down. That's the reason we need to be breakable. As we break up the hard ground in our lives, God breaks in to lead us toward the kinds of breakthroughs that cause revival to break out all around us.

Cost for the weekend is:
$35 before Dec. 1
$45 before Jan. 13

Bring your payment to church office:
Monday - Thursdays (8-4:30PM)
Fridays (8-3:00PM).

Secret Church - Nov. 4 - In The Link

-UPDATE- God blessed us with a great event with 73 people from all over the community in attendance.  The next Secret Church event will be held on Good Friday.

Hosted by FBC Picayune for the greater church of Picayune and the surrounding area, the Secret Church Simulcast is six intense hours of biblical teaching and prayer for the persecuted church led by David Platt. He is the pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama and the author of The New York Times bestseller Radical.  Tickets cost $5 and will cover the cost of the study guide and simulcast. An offering will be collected with all proceeds going toward supporting the persecuted church.

FAMILY, MARRIAGE, SEX, AND THE GOSPEL
Manhood. Womanhood. Marriage. Parenting. Singleness. Sex. Divorce. Homosexuality. Same-sex marriage. Polygamy. Pornography. Adoption. Abortion. Cultures around the world perceive each of these issues differently. So how does God's Word address them? During Secret Church on November 4, 2011, we will explore how the gospel uniquely affects our understanding of family, marriage, sex, and host of related (and controversial) issues that are ultimately foundational for the display of the glory of God in our lives, in the church, and in the world.

Note: Due to the subject matter, this event will not be available as a live webcast or recorded.  It is not recommended for children under the age of 13 years. Child care will NOT be provided.

Tickets may be reserved by calling the FBC Office.
